STRATEGI PERAWATAN PADA MESIN AMUT 1 DENGAN KONSEP TOTAL PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE

Abstrak : Strategi perawatan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan komponen mesin dapat mengurangi besar losses dan meningkatkan produktivitas proses produksi. Mesin produksi cup plastik AMUT 1 merupakan salah satu peralatan thermoforming di perusahaan manufaktur penghasil cup air mineral yang akan dievaluasi efektivitasnya, dikarenakan memiliki nilai downtime yang besar. Pengukuran efektivitas mesin AMUT 1 dapat dilakukan dengan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai OEE yang didapatkan dari perkalian rasio availability, performance dan quality selama tahun 2012 adalah 53.921%. Adapun losses yang paling berpengaruh adalah speed losses (75.566%) dan breakdown losses (24.349%) dari total time loss. Berdasarkan analisis menggunakan FMEA, dapat diketahui komponen prioritas yang paling berpengaruh berdasarkan nilai RPN tertinggi dan akan diperbaiki strategi perawatan komponen prioritas tersebut dengan konsep TPM, antara lain busy belt, stacking error, granulator bermasalah, mesin kurang pelumas, sheet terjepit lantai, heater error, dan permasalahan pada pompa cooling extruder.

MAINTENANCE STRATEGY OF MOLDING MACHINE AMUT 1 BASED ON TOTAL PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE

Abstract : An appropriate maintenance strategy can reduce losses and increase the productivity. Plastic cup injection molding machine AMUT 1 is a thermoforming facility in a mineral water plastic cup manufacturer. This study evaluates effectiveness of the machine AMUT 1, since it has long downtime. It measures the effectiveness of the machine AMUT 1 based on calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by multiplying the ratio of availability, performance and quality. The results shows that the average OEE value was 53.921% during the year 2012. The most significant losses are the speed losses (75.566%) and the breakdown losses (24.349%). Based on FMEA, the study identifies the important components according to RPN. It recommends components maintenance strategy based on the concept of TPM, such as busy belt, stacking error, granulator failure, less lubricants, jammed sheet, heater error, and the cooling pump failure.
