Abstrak : Losses dapat mengurangi efektifitas penggunaan peralatan dalam kegiatan proses produksi. Mesin produksi Dual Filters DD07 merupakan salah satu peralatan produksi di perusahaan manufaktur filter rokok. Pengukuran tingkat efektifitas mesin Dual Filters DDO7 menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) untuk mengetahui nilai availability, performance dan quality. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat efektifitas mesin Dual Filters DD07 selama masa penelitian adalah sebesar 26.22%, dengan rata-rata nilai availability 69.88%, performance 45.37% dan quality 89.06%. Berdasarkan six big losses, penelitian ini mengidentifikasikan losses yang signifikan adalah idling and minor stoppages losses dan reduced speed losses. Rekomendasi yang diprioritaskan terkait setting belt, pengaturan timex dan ketajaman pisau hopper.

ANALYSIS OF OVERALL EQUIPMENT EFFECTIVENESS (OEE) TO MINIMIZE SIX BIG LOSSES DUAL FILTERS MACHINE DD07

Abstract : Losses can reduce the effectiveness of equipment in the production system. Dual Filters Machine DD07 is one of production machine in the cigarette filter manufacturer. This study measure the effectiveness of Dual Filters Machine DDO7 using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to evaluate the value of availability, performance and quality. The results shows that the effectiveness level of Dual Filters Machine DD07 is about 26.22%. It reflects that 69.88% on availability, 45.37% on performance and 89.06% on quality. Based on the six big losses, the study identifies significant loss that is idling and minor stoppages speed losses and reduced losses. It recommends to improve on setting of belt, setting of timex and sharpness of hopper knife.
