PERENCANAAN WAKTU REPLENISHMENT PADA CONTINUOUS MATERIAL REQUIREMENT PLANNING DENGAN KENDALA LAJU PRODUKSI LEVEL

Abstrak : Material Requirement Planning (MRP) merupakan metode pengendalian persediaan material melalui perencanaan kebutuhan material berdasarkan dependent demand sesuai Master Production Schedule (MPS). Dalam MRP konvensional yang mempergunakan pendekatan time bucket system, saat replenishment ditentukan pada tahap offsetting secara diskrit. Time bucket system dalam MRP konvensional dengan lead time yang lama menyebabkan lot size cukup besar dan tidak bisa overlap antara pengadaan dan penggunaan. Dalam sistem continuous flowshop, pengadaan material dari proses sebelumnya dapat overlap dengan penggunaan material pada proses berikutnya. Continuous Material Requirement Planning (CMRP) mempergunakan pendekatan bucketless system, sehingga memungkinkan overlap antara pengadaan dengan penggunaan material. Dalam sistem produksi di mana fasilitas produksinya mempunyai laju produksi level atau konstan akan mempunyai variasi lead time yang berbanding lurus dengan lot size produksinya. Penentuan lot size dalam CMRP mempergunakan lot for lot (L4L) dan terkadang terjadi overlap kebutuhan material, sehingga lead time akan semakin panjang dan waktu replenishment dimajukan lebih awal. Perencanaan waktu replenishment pada pendekatan CMRP dengan bucketless system dan L4L dilakukan dengan backward scheduling.

DETERMINING OF REPLENISHMENT TIME USING CONTINUOUS MATERIAL REQUIREMENT PLANNING ON LEVEL PRODUCTION SYSTEMS

Abstract : Material Requirement Planning (MRP) is a method of material inventory control based on dependent material requirements planning in accordance Master Production Schedule (MPS). In conventional MRP approach, it uses time bucket system and detemines the replenishment time by offsetting in discrete times. Time bucket system makes conventional MRP having long lead time and large lot size. It can not overlap between the procurement and the consumption of materials. In continuous flowshop system, the procurement from the previous process may overlap with the consumption in the next process. Continuous Material Requirement Planning (CMRP) uses bucketless approach system, so it can overlap between the procurement and the consumption of materials. In a production system where production facilities have a constant or level production rate, it will have variations in lead time which is directly proportional to the production lot size. Determination lot size in CMRP uses the lot for lot (L4L) approach and allows overlapping material requirements, so the lead time will get longer and the replenishment time brought forward earlier. This study determines replenishment time by CMRP approach, bucketless system, L4L and backward scheduling.
