SIMULASI SISTEM PERSEDIAAN SPARE PART DENGAN PENDEKATAN COMPOUND POISSON PROCESS

Abstrak : Sistem persediaan spare part memegang peranan penting dalam manajemen perawatan. Ketersediaan spare part akan menunjang proses perawatan, karena apabila spare part mengalami shortage saat diperlukan akan memperlama down time mesin. Waktu antar permintaan spare part yang tidak menentu dan jumlah pemakaian yang bervariasi setiap permintaan datang, menunjukkan pola compound poisson process. Simulasi dengan menirukan pola proses stokastik tersebut dipergunakan untuk menganalisa sistem persediaan 10 jenis spare part. Simulasi dipergunakan untuk mengevaluasi masing-masing spare part dengan tiga skenario nilai lot pengadaan (Q) dan reorder point (ROP). Nilai Q dan ROP dinyatakan efektif apabila service level dari sistem mencapai 100% untuk menghindarkan terjadinya shortage.

SIMULATION STUDY OF SPARE PART INVENTORY SYSTEM BASED ON COMPOUND POISSON PROCESS APPROACH

Abstract : Spare part inventory system become an important thing in maintenance management. Availability of spare parts will support maintenance activities, since spare part shortage will increase equipment downtime. The lag time between occurence of spare part request are uncertain and the amount of consumption varies each request. It shows the pattern of a compound Poisson process. The study develop simulation based on the stochastic process pattern, to analyze the inventory system of 10 items of spare part. It uses the simulation to evaluate three scenarios each spare part by varying procurement lot (Q) and reorder point (ROP). The result obtain the effective value of Q and ROP declared effective that has service level of 100% to avoid a shortage.
